I get the same thing if I try to enable the 4th monitor in Windows 7 display settings (just gives me an "Unable to save display settings" error).

If I try to extend to it, FirePro software gives me a message that I have to disable one other monitor before I can enable that one. The AMD FirePro software shows a 4th monitor as disabled. The monitors only have DVI and VGA ports, no native DisplayPort connections, so I'm using active displayport -> DVI adapters. I was under the impression that I could run 4 monitors off of this, but I'm wondering if there's something wrong with my combination of adapters. The FirePro W5100 has 4 DisplayPort outputs, but I can only seem to get any combination of 3 monitors to work (the 4th always just gives a "no signal" message and goes black). Replaced an older system where 4 monitors were working fine. Over the years, we've seen many conversations in our Community where IT professionals have discussed the use of buzzwords, from "cloud" to "Internet of Things" to "Future Proof." And as technology keeps changing, so do the buzzword. So I have a new HP workstation with an AMD FirePro W5100 card (specs and other details below). What's the worst marketing buzzword you've seen? 2022 Edition! Spiceworks Originals.I found one reference in this thread:https. first off, let me say, YES i did google and search spiceworks for previous coverage on this issue.

I looked at the system and I show 3 distinct memory address and 3 ports for the monitors. When I finished with BIOS windows started and the R monitor went dark and the M came alive. Yesterday evening I wanted to look at the BIOS, so I turned on the machine hit esc and whooooo, the R and L monitors came alive and the M remained dark. The L monitor picks up applications that I start as needed. When I turn on the machine and it windows starts the M monitor displays windows and what is happening. Day to day activity I use the middle (M) and left(L) monitors for my work. If you review the original text it says I have 2 monitors working, could be any 2 combination of the 3 that I have. The results were the same as the last card, every thing operated as described in my original text. UPDATE: I tried to switch display cards, I installed a R6450 which has DVI, HDMI, and analog. This says that all 3 monitors do work with the connection they have, I just can only get 2 working a any time.Īny suggestions? Thank you for your time and consideration. ' and the active display will jump to another monitor.

I can go to the control panel - display -screen resolution and change any one of the monitors 'multiple display' box to a 'disconnect. Each time I am in the AMD Catalyst I try the "create eyefinity display group' and am only given 2 monitors to work with. On the AMD Catalyst monitors #1 and #3 are now blue and numbered 1 and 2 and the T22B350(#2) is dark without a number. Monitor #2 will go dark and pick up the 'disconnect this display' in the screen resolution panel. If I go to the control panel -display - screen resolution and on the new monitor #3 change the 'disconnect this display' to 'extend desktop to this display' the monitor(#3) will physically come active and take the display from monitor #2. Looking on the AMD Catalyst Control Center I see all 3 monitors, monitors #1 and #2 are blue and numbered 1 and 2 the new monitor(#3) is black without a number. In the "multiple display" box the original 2 monitors have 'extend desktop to this display' while the new monitor has 'disconnect this display'. In control panel - display - screen resolution I can see all three monitors. New connection, Samsung S22D300(#3) to the display port using an active adapter (DP to HDMI).
